Mayura Shuto

Mayura was born and raised in Japan. She started her ballet training at age 8. She studied ballet professionally at Showa University of Music under the direction of Carlos Valcarcel. After graduating the university, she started her career as a ballet teacher/dancer. She performed in numerous productions; such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, La Bayadere, Don Quixote and Paquita. Besides classical pieces, She also performed in some musicals and contemporary pieces. As a ballet teacher, she taught over 350 students total from toddlers to seniors, at various ballet schools, a kindergarten, and gym in Tokyo, Japan. She adores her students and has a big passion for teaching. To pursue her passion, she moved to Los Angeles in 2020 and completed her personal fitness trainer program at El Camino College.
