COMMUNICATION AND NOTICES  Dance Image uses email as our main form of communication.  It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to make sure that we have the most recent email account on file & that you check your inbox regularly for email communications from Dance Image.  Parents are also encouraged to Like our Facebook Page, join our Dance Image Families Only page and visit our website regularly for new updates and current events.

WITHDRAWAL: 30-DAY NOTICE   Students are registered & her/his place is held in class for the Season, from the date the Registration Form/online agreement is signed, through the month of June.  If you would like to withdraw from classes, you must give the office 30 days notice.  At this time a payment may be processed of any amount that may be due within 30 day drop period.  Without this, your space in class is held and tuition will be due through the end of the month.

PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEOTAPING & SOCIAL MEDIA Individual, group and class photos taken by us or an outside company that we hire to take class photos or Recital pictures may be used at our discretion in any or all forms of media for advertising.  To protect our children, teachers and intellectual property, there is no Videotaping allowed at Dance classes without permission. Photos with fellow dancers require the parents permission before posting to any social media.

 

TUITION  There is an annual $20 registration fee* per student.  *Registration Fee is $30 from January-June per student. The registration fee is due when registering for classes. Your Credit Card on file will be charged automatically on the 1st of the month.  All past balances due will be charged at this time. Tuition must be paid prior to taking class.  Payments made after the 1st of the month are charged a $20 late fee, with a $10 charge for each additional week late. A $25 charge will be added for any returned checks. There is a $25 fee for declined or expired CC charges.  

Payment Options:

  1. Cash, Check, Cashier’s Check or Money Order payable to “Dance Image”.  These payments must be made prior to the 1st of the month if you do not want your Credit Card on file to be charged. $25 late fee after the 1st.

  2. Online via Credit or Debit Card by logging into your account and making a one-time payment.  These payments must be made prior to the 1st of the month if you do not want your Credit Card on file to be charged.

  3. Recurring Payments via Credit or Debit are now the NEW Primary Option of Tuition Monthly Payments.  You must log into your account and update with a Credit Card.  When activated, all Recurring Payment accounts will bill the credit/debit card “on file”, the Full Balance due on the account.  This includes outstanding Registration Fees, Tuition, Costumes, Exams, Late Fees, etc. This system does not bill a set amount automatically, only the Balance Due that month, so there is no risk of the system billing you for charges that you did not incur.  You can go into your account at any time prior to the first to see how much will be billed on the 1st.  Contact us immediately if you see any discrepancies so that we can adjust them accordingly.  Again, you are only billed through the recurring Billing System if your account has a positive balance.  Please note: If you plan to pay by cash or check, you will still need a credit/debit card on file.

 

REFUND POLICY  Tuition, Registration Fee and Costume payments are non-refundable.  There are no credits or refunds for missed classes. There are no credits/discounts for missed classes due to Holidays; however, there is no charge for the 5th week when it occurs.  Make-up classes are encouraged and recommended and must be made up within four weeks.  A 4 week, or 30-day notice must be given in writing to our office if you are withdrawing from a class, and to cease Recurring Payment Plan. Classes already paid for above and beyond the 4-week withdrawal notice will remain as a credit on your account for up to one year to be used on future tuition.  The 4-week notice begins from the date of the written notification of Withdrawal.  At this time a payment may be processed of any amount that may be due within 30 day drop period. Classes or payment from the 4 week withdrawal notice are not transferable to another student or sibling.  If a student withdraws or chooses to not be in the Recital after Costumes have been ordered (January), the student may pick up their costume after the recital. Dance Image reserves the right to re-sell any costumes to new students and reimburse the costume money.

 

ATTENDANCE AND ETIQUETTE Regular attendance is expected.  If a student’s work declines, we reserve the right to change your child to another class.  This enables us to keep classes on a balanced learning level and benefit all who attend.  All classes are subject to Instructors Approval.  1 parent per student in the Waiting Areas. Do not drop students off too early (no more than 10 minutes), and please pick them up on time.  There is a $5 fee per each 5 minutes for students not picked up on time at the last class of the day. Please, do not leave children unattended in the lobby.  Children are not allowed to play in the parking lot or on the stairs. Other siblings and children should remain quiet while class is in progress. Parents are financially responsible for any mishap caused by children in waiting areas.  EMPLOYEES ONLY ALLOWED BEHIND THE DESK.

 

RECITAL  It is understood that all registered students will participate in the June recital.  The recital costume fee (as outlined in the Costume Books) will be charged to your account unless the studio is notified in advance (prior to November 1).  Final Costume Balance is due by December 1, 2018. A $10.00 late fee per costume will be added 12/1/18. An additional late fee will apply, per costume, for each month that costumes remain unpaid. Costumes are not ordered until full payment is received.  A professional videographer will be videotaping the recital. No other video cameras or cameras will be allowed during the recital or dress rehearsal. To help the students get used to the stage, the Dress Rehearsal is at the theater and is closed to everyone except DI staff, students and assigned backstage helpers.  For security purposes, no one except the above-mentioned are allowed backstage at the recital and dancers will not be allowed to come late or leave early. Recital Performance Fee is due on April 1st. Recital Performance Fee is non-refundable and is mandatory to participate in the June Recitals. If participating in the Recital, please be sure to read through your Recital Handbook for additional details regarding costumes, Recitals, Dress Rehearsals, Tickets, Recital T-shirts, DVD’s and more.

 

ABSENCES AND VACATIONS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE MONTH OF JUNE IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE JUNE RECITALS.  PLEASE PLAN YOUR VACATIONS ACCORDINGLY.
