Sylvia Touris is Colorado born, but Los Angeles raised by her musical theatre loving mother. At the age of 2 Sylvia was involved in the theater world, on stage and off stage. She studied Visual Arts at the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, but continued performing after school. Sylvia studied dance at Glendale Community College and performed in Community Theater Productions with Glendale Centre Theatre, Stepping Stones Players, and most recently ARTS production of Newsies as Dance Captain. For the past 5 years she has been performing with Disney in Disneyland Resort Parades and with Disney Cruise Line on the Disney Dream. Sylvia believes all art forms are a form of storytelling and is excited to teach that to the next generation of artists.
