Camila Carsolio

Camila, now accounting over 12 years of dance experience, at the age of 12, was accepted as one of the youngest girls to the Summer Program at the National School of Cirque in Montreal where she perfected techniques in aerial dance. From there, she went from summers with the Bolshoi to the center of arts, New York City, where Joffrey Ballet School picked her out of many dancers to be part of their full-year professional program. There, she studied in the hands of great teachers and choreographers for 4 years with a full Meredith Scholarship, performing such roles as Snow Queen in The Nutcracker inside amazing New York theaters and stages. In 2019 she choreographed for a performance at the theatre in Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet. Before the COVID19 pandemic, she was rehearsing for a performance with Mishi Dance Company. Now, she is part of the faculty at Dance Image Studio in Los Angeles. “I like to provide people of all ages and backgrounds with a common ground, a place where they can be free to express, to be empathic and unique at the same time. This place is called dance and everyone should be able to experience it.”
