Classes During the COVID-19 Pandemic

As with most small businesses, the COVID-19 Pandemic, turned Dance Image upside down.  In the blink of an eye we had to make changes that we could never have imagined. What did not change, however, was our dedication to our families and students. We understand the importance and value of social connection, a sense of normalcy, and much needed reminders that we are all in this together.  Debbi Miller and the Dance Image team eagerly learn and challenge themselves to ensure the best for their dancers and families.  The hope of Dance Image is to continue to provide quality dance education during this difficult time so that we can come back with a bang when we are able to return to in-person classes at Dance Image!

Currently, Dance Image is offering a variety of classes through our virtual experience, hybrid, and select camp classes.

We look forward to offering in-person classes in the future. At Dance Image, we believe that respecting the laws and recommendations of health care professionals is the best plan of action to ensure the safety of our families while setting a positive law-abiding example.

If you are not sure if our classes are right for you, please contact us so that we can schedule a free trial class for you!

COVID-19 Safety Protocols:

When the time comes, we look forward to providing in-person classes and promise that we are making every effort to keep you and your family safe while at Dance Image.

Travel & Social Activity Policy

If you or someone living in your home has traveled out of town and/or visited with more than one person outside of their household must quarantine and do all classes via Zoom for a minimum of 14 days. If you or someone in your home has been exposed to COVID-19, a 14 day quarantine is also required to ensure the safety of other people in the studio.

Class Sizes

All in-person classes will have a maximum of 8 available in-person spots to accommodate social distancing guidelines, the remaining 4-8 class spots will be taking classes virtually through Zoom.

Dance Squares

In-person dancers will be assigned to a dance square.  Dancers under the age of 5 years old will be allowed one parent to stay in their dance square during the time of class.  Parents will be expected to assist dancers in staying within their dance square. Dancers who are 5 years old and over will enter the studio alone, and parents are encouraged to watch the class by joining through Zoom.

Personal Props

Dancers will not be sharing dance props of any kind.  Combo classes will be able to purchase a prop bag with the necessary supplies. Older dancers and parents will be informed of any props that may be necessary for the class.

Entering the Studio

Temperatures will be taken of anyone entering the studio.  Everyone who enters the studio will be required to sanitize their hands, and remove their street shoes before entering the dance space.  Facial masks will be required of everyone who enters the studio.

Sanitizing the Dance Spaces

The studio spaces will be sanitized before, in-between, and after each class of changing students.  A team member will clean and sanitize the restroom after each use, though dancers and parents are encouraged to use their restroom before leaving for dance.
