Elysse Mendoza, AKA Miss Elysse, has been dancing since the age of 3 years old. She began her dance education with ballet and tap at Dance Image and over years received extensive training in additional styles such as jazz, hip hop, lyrical, musical theater, stretch and conditioning. Miss Elysse has moderate training in acrobatics, modern, and experience in salsa, yoga, Bollywood, and more!

Miss Elysse has been teaching since she was 14 years old with Dance Image, and has developed a passion for working with children. Miss Elysse teaches all ages but is one of the few teachers at Dance Images who feels that she thrives with children under the age of 5 years old! Miss Elysse maintains classes that are both teacher and child-centered, and dances between both methods depending on what the class needs at any given time. Miss Elysse provides a class setting that is loving, nurturing, and accepting of all children. Her goal is to develop a relationship built on trust, love, and mutual respect with all her students, so that they leave her class knowing how important they are.

Miss Elysse graduated from Mt. San Antonio College in 2019 with an AA-T in Psychology and an AA in Behavioral Sciences. She transferred to California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and began in Fall of 2019 where she continued her major in Psychology. Miss Elysse will be graduating with her Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology in May of 2021. She plans to continue her education by attending graduate school. Miss Elysse has hopes of being a child psychologist who provides a unique form of therapy, while conducting research to help the world have a better understanding of what can help children become productive mentally and emotionally intelligent and productive members of society.
