Abner discovered his love for dance at eight years old, taking his first class at Rising Star Performing Arts Studio. What began as curiosity quickly became passion, leading him to head captain of his high school dance team while training in ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary.
He continued refining his craft at Mt. San Antonio College, performing with the Repertory Company, and later earned his Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design and Production from California State University, Northridge – a fusion of movement and visual artistry that continues to shape his creative voice.
Throughout his career, Abner has performed with companies such as Life in Motion Dance Company and Animus Dance, and now teaches and choreographs for competitive studios and high schools across Southern California.
In Fall 2025, he founded “Ethos: Unbound” an adult dance company rooted in storytelling, emotion, and the beauty of imperfection. Through his work, Abner hopes to awaken something deeper within his students and audiences alike—reminding them that dance is not just movement, but the art of being human.
