Hannah Mercado

Instructor

Hannah Mercado began dancing at the age of three at Onstage Dance Center where she studied ballet, contemporary, dance conditioning, tap, jazz, lyrical, and musical theatre. While at Onstage Dance Center, Hannah won numerous scholarships to attend and compete at regional & national dance competitions/conventions.

Additionally, Hannah gained choreography experience by participating in pageants, musicals, and student-teaching. After graduating high school Hannah would go on to study for a Bachelor’s in Theatre Arts: Dance Option at the California State University, Dominguez Hills where she is expected to graduate in May 2021.

It is at CSUDH where she studied classical jazz, pointe, modern, hip hop, Aztec, West African and social dancing, as well as won scholarships to attend dance conventions for college students.

From 2021 to August 2022, Hannah was out of the country working with the Salesian Lay Missionaries (SLM) to help the orphanages and community.

This is Hannah’s second year teaching at Dance Image. She is highly motivated and enthusiastic to help her students reach their fullest potential.
